AIA Group (and its affiliates) is the largest independent public listed pan-Asian life insurance group. It wholly owned branches and subsidiaries in 18 markets in Asia-Pacific region. Until now, AIA Vietnam is in Top 5 of Biggest Insurance Companies, Top 3 of Largest Employers and Top 40 of Best working environment companies. Besides its business, AIA Vietnam also corporate with many social organizations to support community and social security in Vietnam. Particularly, in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor-Invalids and Social Affairs, AIA Company has adopted Vietnam Children Support Fund to carry out hundreds of community support events, support thousands of Vietnamese families and children. Since 2012, AIA has provided 24.9 billion VND through the Vietnam Children Sponsor Fund to run many programs such as "Life journey", provide scholarship support, tuition fees, support insurance for poor children until they reach age of 18, donate water tanks, water filters for children in drought areas, give away necessary studying tools for children in disadvantaged areas.

Greeting the contribution of AIA Vietnam in the field of economy and social security in Vietnam, especially in support of disadvantaged children in many provinces, Deputy Minister Dao Hong Lan appreciated the stable development of AIA Vietnam, which has created a large number of jobs for workers.

Sharing with Mr. Keng Hooi, Deputy Minister said that Vietnam still had nearly 1.5 million children in special circumstances and more than 2.5 million children who are nearly in special circumstances. They really need the attention of the society to have stable life and conditions to study in the future. Therefore, the Government of Vietnam and the Ministry of Labor-Invalids and Social Affairs would like to expand cooperation with corporations as well as AIA Group in the near future.
