Happy New Year letter from Minister Dao Ngoc Dung
Dear all staffs, civil servants and employees in the field of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs!
On the occasion of New Year 2018 and Tet Holiday, on behalf of the Party Committees and Leaders of the Ministry of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs, I would like to send my best wishes to all of you.
In 2017, people in the field of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs have united, worked hard to overcome many difficulties, challenges and completed objectives in labour, people with meritorious services to the revolution and social affairs sections, which supported overall success of the whole country. Specially, the year of 2017 was voted as “The Year of Return the Favor” to show gratitude and respect to the martyrs, invalids and people with meritorious services to the revolution. The Ministry of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) incorporated with all related locals, Departments, Divisions, Boards, Centre Office and People Committees to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Invalids & Martyrs Day (July 27th 1947 – July 27th 2017); process backlog files of martyrs, people with meritorious services identification and policies for their relatives. In addition of APEC Vietnam 2017, MOLISA also organized successfully High – level dialogues on Human resource development in the digital age and High- level dialogues on Women and the economy.
In 2018, with the motto “ United – Disciplined – Creative – Effective”, MOLISA should strive more strongly, determine to complete groups of targets and tasks assigned by the National Assembly and the Party. In particular, it is necessary to concentrate on perfecting institutions, accelerating administrative reforms and intensifying the application of information technology in the state management; developing labour market; implementing the advance solutions to improve the quality of vocational education which adapt to the 4th Industrial Revolution; enhancing living conditions of families of people with meritorious services; ensuring social security; maintaining political stability and socio - economic development of the country.
I trust and hope that all staffs, civil servants and employees in the field of Labour – Invalids and Social Affairs will continue and encourage our tradition for the last 70 years, be united, disciplined, creative, effective to fulfill every assigned tasks and targets.
