The program also helps to enhance the competitiveness of Vietnamese textile and footwear export enterprises; ensure good working conditions and workers' rights; strengthen compliance with the law, especially labour laws in enterprises...
Sharing about the future, the Deputy Minister said that Vietnam is entering an era of growth, so it will accelerate even faster in socio-economic development, towards higher goals of the country.
The Deputy Minister hoped that the Better Work Program would continue to support Vietnam more comprehensively and strongly. At the same time, it would strongly support improving workers' awareness of common standards, towards ensuring international standards related to workers.
He also hopes that the Program will help Vietnam in other areas such as green economy, circular economy...
In response, Ms Roopa Nair expressed her joy and honor to come to Vietnam to work, especially to be able to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Better Work Program in Vietnam. She shared that Vietnam is always an ideal model for other countries to learn from and share knowledge about ensuring workers' rights and enhancing employers' benefits.
In addition, the Program Director also highly welcomed the comments and sharing of MoLISA to help the Better Work Program determine its work plan in the coming time as well as build a common set of tools, a common set of assessment standards and a common code of conduct for all employers and businesses to use, instead of applying them individually./.
