Deputy Minister Le Van Thanh worked in Soc Trang on the implementation of the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction
(LĐXH)- Deputy Minister Le Van Thanh leading the MoLISA delegation had a meeting with Soc Trang province on the implementation of the National Target Program on Sustainable Poverty Reduction in the 2021-2025 period, on May 30.
In the coming time, he suggested that Soc Trang province continue to promote poverty reduction, focusing on building infrastructure in difficult areas to create conditions for people to do business.
In addition to the central capital, the province needs to prioritize the balance of local capital to implement the programs and note that there must be monitoring and supervision to avoid losses.
The province needs to continue to fully organize regular poverty reduction policies such as health insurance, housing, loans to create jobs... Besides, it is necessary to mobilize more external resources to support poor and near poor households.
Deputy Minister Le Van Thanh suggested that the province pay attention to diversifying livelihood models, supporting production development so that people can have a better life and higher income.
MoLISA Deputy Minister also noted that one of the tasks Soc Trang needs to pay more attention to is sending workers to work abroad under contracts./.
