Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Ha receives the Chief Representative of UN Women in Vietnam
(LĐXH)- On the afternoon of May 9, at MoLISA Headquarters, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Ha had a meeting with Ms. Elisa Fernandez Saenz, Chief Representative of the United Nations Development Fund for Women (UN Women) in Vietnam.
Attending the meeting were leaders of the Gender Equality Department and the Department of International Cooperation. 

At the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Ha recognized and highly appreciated the cooperation results between MOLISA and UN Women in recent years.
In which, many programs, activities and support related to gender equality and prevention and response to gender-based violence against women and children have been implemented effectively.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Ha hopes that in the future Ms. Elisa Fernandez Saenz with her valuable experience will always share and support for gender equality work in Vietnam. Thereby contributing to promoting and further developing the cooperation relationship between MOLISA and UN Women, enhancing the role and position of women, towards promoting gender equality in a sustainable way in Vietnam.
Deputy Minister Ha congratulated Ms. Elisa Fernandez Saenz on her appointment to a higher position of the UN Women's Office for Europe and Central Asia after finishing her term in Vietnam.
Ms. Elisa Fernandez Saenz thanked the Deputy Minister for the welcome and shared her feelings and good memories while working in Vietnam.
She expressed her gratitude and appreciation for the cooperation activities of the MoLISA for the programs and activities that UN Women has been implementing in Vietnam.
She believes that UN Women's programs in Vietnam have been implemented very effectively. This shows the interest of all levels and sectors in general and especially the MoLISA./.
