Deputy Minister Nguyen Ba Hoan receives Australian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Vietnam
(LĐXH)- Deputy Minister Nguyen Ba Hoan had a meeting with Australian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Vietnam Andrew John Lech Goledzinowski on March 7 at the Headquarters of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA).
Talking to the new Ambassador, Deputy Minister Nguyen Ba Hoan said that in the past period, the cooperation relationship between Vietnam and Australia in general and between the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs and the Australian Embassy in Vietnam in particular has been continuously achieved many important results.
The Australian side has cooperated and contributed to the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs in fields related to human resource development and especially gender equality.
Cooperation activities, financial and technical support have been implemented and contributed to the improvement of policy institutions, capacity building, labour market expansion, gender equality promotion and prevention in Vietnam.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Ba Hoan suggested that in the coming time, the Australian Embassy would continue to act as a bridge, support and promote projects that the two countries have been cooperating with, such as replicating high-quality training programs according to international standards, promoting cooperation between vocational education institutions of the two countries; continue to support the pilot project to establish the Industry Skills Council…
In response to Deputy Minister Nguyen Ba Hoan, the Australian Ambassador expressed his pleasure and appreciated the information announced by the Deputy Minister, as well as the results of cooperation projects between the two sides in the field of labour and social affairs.
Mr. Andrew John Lech Goledzinowski said, Australia is considered one of the countries with the best vocational training in the world, therefore, this will help Vietnam as well as Vietnamese students to study and work in Australia.
Ambassador Andrew John Lech Goledzinowski affirmed that in his position, he will continue to support and share his experiences with Vietnam, thereby contributing to strengthening the relationship between the two countries./.
