Minister Dao Ngoc Dung welcomes the Governor of Hessen State, Federal Republic of Germany
(LĐXH)- On November 28, Minister of MoLISA Dao Ngoc Dung received the Governor of Hessen State, Federal Republic of Germany - Mr. Boris Rhein, in which the two sides discussed promoting bilateral cooperation in vocational training and recruiting skilled workers, for both the Vietnamese and Hessen labour markets.
In recent years, cooperation in labour and vocational education between the two countries has achieved positive results.
“In 2025, the two countries will celebrate the 50th anniversary of their cooperative relationship, in which the MoLISA and the German Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs have agreed to organize the Vietnam - German Labour Forum in April 2025, in Germany,” Minister Dao Ngoc Dung informed.
In the past, MoLISA has piloted 22 key international-level occupations transferred from the Federal Republic of Germany at 45 colleges.
According to the Minister, this cooperation is not only beneficial to Vietnam but also to the state of Hessen, because workers after being trained in Vietnam can go to work in Hessen, helping to solve the shortage of human resources in this State.
Minister Dao Ngoc Dung pledged that MoLISA is always ready to cooperate with the state of Hessen in areas of mutual interest such as vocational education and human resource training, and the Ministry will select young people who have completed their military service, are in good health and have a high sense of discipline, and fully meet the requirements of the Federal Republic of Germany.
Thanking Minister Dao Ngoc Dung for taking the time to welcome him, Mr. Boris Rhein affirmed that the two sides have great potential to further strengthen cooperation in areas where Vietnam has demand and Hessen State has strengths.
The State of Hessen and Vietnam are bound together by a special friendship, within the framework of priority cooperation since 2012. This is clearly demonstrated through the effective and successful operation of the Vietnam - Germany University, which has been training high-quality human resources for Vietnam.
Mr. Boris Rhein hopes that the MoLISA and the State of Hessen will promote bilateral cooperation in vocational training and recruitment of skilled workers in the industrial and handicraft sectors./.
