Meanwhile, 11 other districts include Thuong Xuan and Ba Thuoc in Thanh Hoa Province, A Luoi in Thua Thien-Hue Province, Phuoc Son and Bac Tra My in Quang Nam Province, An Lao in Binh Dinh Province, Khanh Son in Khanh Hoa Province, M'Drak in Dak Lak Province and Dak Glong in Dak Nong Province as well as Tri Ton District in the southern province of An Giang are also mentioned in the list.
Under the Government's decision, these provinces will be financed to build and upgrade inter-communal roads serving for production and circulation of goods to promote economic growth and increase incomes for local people.
The Government targets to lower the proportion of multidimensional poverty households in these districts by 6-7 percent per year.
By 2025, the rate of multi-dimensional poor and near-poor households will reduce by at least 60 percent based on the multidimensional poverty measure in 2022-2025 phase.
By 2025, average income of poor and near-poor households in these districts is expected to increase by 1.8 times compared to that of 2020./.
