Increase pensions and social insurance for more than 2.9 million people
(LĐXH)- Pensions, social insurance allowances and monthly allowances of a number of subjects have been adjusted up from January 1, 2022.
In 2021, the COVID-19 pandemic has seriously affected all aspects of economy and society.
Therefore, the Government's promulgation of policies to increase pensions, social insurance allowances and monthly allowances has shown the Party, State and Government's deep concern for retirees and pensioners.
Currently, Vietnam has about 3.2 million people receiving monthly pensions and social insurance benefits.
Vietnam Social Insurance processed about 96,000 applications for monthly pension and social insurance benefits in 2021./.
