Millions of workers affected by COVID-19 pandemic are supported by Resolution 68
(LĐXH)-It is said that Resolution 68 of the Government is a timely, humane, and people-pleasing decision.

This Resolution implements policies to decrease and defer contribution payments into a number of Social Insurance funds, provides funding support for businesses, and facilitates allowances for employees, individuals and business households impacted by COVID-19.
So far, over 15 million workers nationwide have received aid worth 8.4 trillion VND (369.2 million USD) in total under Resolution 68/NQ-CP, apart from more than 2.1 trillion VND (92.3 million USD) for freelance workers and 134,000 tonnes of rice for disadvantaged residents.
Localities in the South have supported people according to Resolution No. 68 with an amount of money accounting for 72.5% of the whole country.
All provinces and cities under social distancing have issued plans to support people by special policies, suitable for each locality such as workers, lottery seller, motorbike taxis, street vendors, people without labor contracts…
In order to create the best conditions for people to access and enjoy policies, it is suggested that the authorities should step up the propaganda about this Resolution for more effective implementation.
At the same time, it is necessary to review and grasp the inadequacies during implementation the Resolution in order propose appropriate solutions.
According to the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, the process of implementing Resolution 68 shows a few regulations that are not really suitable for reality.
Based on the Government's direction, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs has submitted a report on amending and supplementing the Resolution 68 with some notable contents./.
