Minister Dao Ngoc Dung meets voters in Ba Thuoc district of Thanh Hoa province
(LĐXH)- Under plan before the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly, the Thanh Hoa Provincial National Assembly Delegation led by Mr. Dao Ngoc Dung, Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs had a meeting with voters in Ba Thuoc district on May 3.
In particular, voters in Thanh Son commune proposed that the Central Government increase the level of support and expand housing difficulties for poor and near-poor households in poor districts from the capital of the national target program.
At the same time, increase the level of housing support from this Program's capital source and expand the subjects of housing support for poor and near-poor households to all those with housing difficulties.
Voters also asked the Central Government to have policies to support communes and villages in Region III in the previous period, which are no longer particularly difficult communes and villages. Because these communes and villages are still very difficult, especially in terms of socio-economic infrastructure.
In response to the delegates' recommendations, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung respectfully thanked the affection and trust of Ba Thuoc district voters for the National Assembly delegates.
He expressed his joy at the results achieved in socio-economic development and implementation of social security policies by the Party Committee, authorities and people of the district.
Minister Dao Ngoc Dung believes that, with the efforts of agencies from the central to local levels, and the cooperation of all people nationwide, the plan to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses will be completed soon.
"We are striving that by 2030, social policy will truly make a transition, from a policy approach with the goal of ensuring and stabilizing to stability and development. In addition to economic development, the Central Government aims to make Vietnam a pioneer country in building satisfactory and sustainable social and employment policies" - he said.
Minister Dao Ngoc Dung also gave 30 gifts to people with contributions to the revolution and 20 gifts to the poor, disabled people, and children in difficult circumstances in Ba Thuoc district./.
