(LĐXH)- On March 19, MoLISA Minister Dao Ngoc Dung had a meeting and working session with Mr. Chang Won Sam - Chairman of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA).
At the meeting, the two sides discussed many issues of cooperation between the two Governments related to the sectors of labour and vocational education, focusing on training skilled workers in industries, such as shipbuilding, automobile manufacturing, smart electronic devices...

Minister Dao Ngoc Dung emphasized the meaning of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Korea.
He emphasized that cooperation between the two countries has achieved outstanding and comprehensive developments in most sectors, including cooperation in labour, employment and social security.
Informing Mr. Chang Won Sam, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung said that through proposals from Korean unions, the Vietnamese Government has issued Decree No. 70/2023/ND-CP amending and supplementing some articles of Decree No. 152/2020/ND-CP regulating foreign workers working in Vietnam and recruitment and management of Vietnamese workers working for foreign organizations and individuals in Vietnam.
Minister Dao Ngoc Dung added that, since the end of 2023, MoLISA and the Korean Ministry of Health and Welfare have been promoting insurance cooperation between the two countries in the spirit of high unity.
At the event, Mr. Chang Won Sam thanked the Vietnamese Government, as well as the Minister personally, for caring and creating conditions for an increasing number of Vietnamese workers to work in Korea.
He assessed that this cooperation brings benefits to both Vietnamese workers as well as to Korea when receiving good human resources./.
