Minister Dao Ngoc Dung receives the UN Resident Coordinator in Vietnam
(LĐXH)- MoLISA Minister Dao Ngoc Dung had a meeting and worke with Ms. Pauline Tamesis, United Nations Resident Coordinator in Vietnam on August 16.
At the meeting, Ms. Pauline Tamesis expressed her honor to hold the position of UN Resident Coordinator in Vietnam.
She said the relationship between MoLISA and the UN has a long tradition.
During the cooperation process, MoLISA has always supported the UN in many areas such as population aging, gender equality, combating gender-based violence, violence against children, especially, cooperation in targeted programs on poverty reduction. That cooperation has achieved great results.
Ms. Pauline Tamesis emphasized that the UN is always ready to support and accompany oLISA to share experiences as well as help Vietnam forecast future risks and make effective recommendations.
In response to Ms. Pauline Tamesis, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung thanked the UN and its member organizations for their effective and sincere coordination and cooperation with the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs over the past time.
The Minister wished that the UN Coordination Office in Vietnam would continue to pay attention and support Vietnam in the fields under the MoLISA’s management.
He also believes that the relationship between Vietnam in general, the MoLISA in particular and the UN will develop more and more deeply./.
