MoLISA implements many solutions to ensure social security
(LĐXH)- In 2021, Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA) organized a synchronous, flexible and effective implementation of solutions to prevent and control the COVID-19 pandemic with the primary goal of taking care of and protecting people's health and lives, ensuring food safety, well the coverage of current social security and social welfare policies to all people in society to maintain stability in socio-economic life.

The Ministry has also implemented many measures to ensure social security, support workers and people in difficulty, restore the labour market and create jobs.
In the context of the complicated development of the COVID-19 pandemic, the MoLISA has actively coordinated with relevant ministries and sectors to submit to the Government for promulgation policies, including unprecedented policies, to support hit-people overcome difficulties such as Resolution No. 68, Resolution No. 116 and Resolution No. 126.
These are important decisions in the social security system to respond more effectively during the pandemic.
According to the report, the total funding for the implementation of Resolution 68 nationwide is over 35.9 trillion VND, supporting over 31.28 million people.
Up to now, Resolution No. 116 has provided support for over 12.8 million employees with a support amount of over VND 30.5 trillion.
In addition, the Government also provided rice to relieve hunger for people, mobilized enormous socialization resources of organizations and individuals, and millions of "security bags" to support people during the pandemic.
The Government has spent a large amount of money to support people and businesses affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. These policies are really practical, timely, meaningful and create deep trust among the people./.
