National action month on gender equality and prevention of gender-based violence will be launched in November
(LĐXH)- With the theme "Ensuring social security, empowering women and girls to achieve gender equality and eliminate gender-based violence", National action month on gender equality 2023 will be launched in November with a variety of activities with the aim of promoting gender equality and preventing violence and abuse against women and children.
The Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA) has just issued a plan to implement the National action month on gender equality and prevention of gender-based violence 2023.

MoLISA emphasized that this is the peak month in communication about gender equality and preventing and responding to gender-based violence nationwide.
This is also to create positive change in society in terms of achieving gender equality and eliminate gender-based violence.
Accordingly, MoLISA will chair and coordinate with Vietnam Airlines and the UN Women to organize the Launching Ceremony of the Month of Action on November 10.
The main activities will be implemented during the Action Month include: Organizing press awards on gender equality, conferences, seminars, policy dialogues, communication on social networks, parades, street music events, painting/photo exhibitions, forums for workers and workers in industrial zones... on the topic of gender equality and eliminate gender-based violence against women and girls.
In addition, the organizing committee will develop, publish and release media documents/products, messages on gender equality and preventing and responding to gender-based violence./.
