Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee Nguyen Hoa Binh worked with MoLISA
(LĐXH)- Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court had a meeting with leaders of the Ministry of Labour - Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA) on payroll management for the period 2016 - 2021 on 30 November 2021.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr Nguyen Hoa Binh said that the implementation of the Directives and Resolutions of the Central Committee and the Politburo has been well implemented by the MoLISA with many bright spots, in accordance with Resolution No. 39-NQ/TW.
Up to now, the payroll of the Ministry is quite streamlined and efficient.
Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh also acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the MoLISA in carrying out political tasks assigned by the Party and State.
In particular, the past time has been a very difficult period as the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak and many social problems arose.
The MoLISA promptly advised and proposed to the Party, State and Government to issue many policies to support people during the pandemic, especially workers, people with meritorious services and disadvantaged people.
“The MoLISA has also implemented a series of projects related to employees such as vocational training and employment, making an important contribution to the implementation of social security policies” – he added.

At the meeting, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung stressed that the MoLISA is a special agency, managing 14 fields. All policies of the industry serve the majority of disadvantaged, difficult and sensitive people.
In which there are very large problem areas that need to be coordinated with other Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, branches or localities.
Minister Dao Ngoc Dung said: “Our goal is towards social security for the whole people, improving the level of social security and welfare. But in order to achieve the goal that all people have the right to participate in and benefit from policies, the staff must be stable in order to perform their duties well”.
“In the coming time, the Ministry will continue to consolidate the organizational structure in the direction of reducing the intermediate level, streamlining the apparatus within the units under the Ministry” - Minister Dao Ngoc Dung emphasized.
Reporting on payroll management, Deputy Minister Le Tan Dung said that, in 2021, the Ministry has assigned 683 civil servant payrolls (a decrease of 55 people compared to 2017; a decrease of 65 people compared to 2015).
As of June 30, 2021, the actual number of civil servants was 617; for the remaining staff, the Ministry has been developing a plan to recruit civil servants by means of an exam in 2022.
In the 2016 - 2021 period, the organizational structure and number of people working in the Ministry has been consolidated in a more streamlined direction./.
