Promote cooperation between MoLISA and UNICEF in the sector of children
(LĐXH)- MoLISA Deputy Minister Nguyen Thi Ha had a meeting with Ms. Lesley Miller, Deputy Chief Representative of the UNICEF in Vietnam on the occasion of her coming to say good bye and ending her working term in Vietnam, on June 6.
She emphasized that the work of protecting, caring for and educating children is always concerned by all levels, sectors and the whole society to give the best things for children.
"UNICEF's effective support for Vietnamese children over the past time has had practical significance such as: supporting children during the COVID-19 pandemic and natural disasters; promoting the social work; implementing the Care Project for the comprehensive development of children in the first years of life at home and in the community for the period of 2018 - 2025, as well as the Action Plan for Children for the period of 2021 - 2030…”, she added.
The great contributions of UNICEF and Ms. Lesley Miller in recent times have been highly appreciated by the State, the Government and the domestic and international community.
On this occasion, Ms. Lesley Miller expressed her sincere thanks to the Deputy Minister and MoLISA, highly appreciating the cooperative relationship between the two sides over the past time.
She believed that cooperation programs will continue to be implemented effectively and achieve good results./.
