In particular, rapid growth was recorded in markets with high and stable income such as Japan and Taiwan; decreased in middle-income markets such as Malaysia, the Middle East and North Africa.

By 2022, this field will gradually return to normal, with the number of workers working abroad reaching 142,779 (equal to 93.6% of 2019, before the COVID-19 outbreak).
According to MoLISA, the activity of sending Vietnamese workers to work abroad under contracts in the coming time will continue to be promoted; thereby contributing to socio-economic development, creating jobs, increasing income for workers; promote the culture and good image of the country and Vietnamese people to the world.
This confirms that creating jobs and supporting job creation for workers is one of the key goals of Vietnam's socio-economic development policies./.
