At the reception, Ms. Cristina Romila said that the recent visit of Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to Romania was a great success.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that the two sides need to continue developing cooperation in labour and education and training, which are traditional areas of cooperation in which both Vietnam and Romania have needs and strengths.
During that visit, the two countries re-signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the MoLISA and the Ministry of Labour and Social Solidarity of Romania on cooperation in the field of labour and social security.
Ms. Cristina Romila proposed visa exemption for Romanian citizens to visit Vietnam to suit the new situation and bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
