Promoting to send Vietnamese skilled workers to work in Korea
(LĐXH)- On the afternoon of October 6, MoLISA Deputy Minister Nguyen Ba Hoan had an online working session with the Korean Deputy Minister of Trade, Energy and Industry - Mr. Joo Yoong - joon.

Opening the meeting, the two Deputy Ministers shared and highly appreciated the results of cooperation programs between the two countries related to sending Vietnamese workers to Korea.
Since 2019, through the cooperation agreement signed between the Department of Overseas Labour (MoLISA) and the Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Agency in Hanoi (KOTRA), Vietnamese enterprises have provided nearly 100 shipbuilding workers to work in Korea with good income.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Ba Hoan said that the Vietnamese side highly appreciates Korea's policy in expanding the reception of technical workers in general and shipbuilding workers in particular.
This is an important solution to solve the problem of human resource shortage in Korea and opens up many opportunities for Vietnamese skilled workers.
The Vietnamese government always creates favorable conditions for workers to work in Korea to improve their income and work skills and thereby, promote the ever-expanding cooperation relationship between the two countries.
Deputy Minister Joo Yoong-joon said shipbuilding is one of the very important industries in Korea. The Korean side wants to hire Vietnamese workers.
He believes that after working in Korea, Vietnamese workers will gain a lot of experience and can transfer to Vietnam after the contract./.
