Speeding up implementation of the support package for people affected by Covid-19
(LĐXH) Minister Dao Ngoc Dung asked the labour sector of provinces and cities to reduce administrative procedures to speed up the implementation of the VND26-trillion support package.
At the online MoLISA's 6-month Review Conference held on 14 July, the Minister reminded that some localities are still slow in deploying the support package to workers, especially self-employed.

The Minister emphasized that localities need to reduce procedures so that the support package can quickly reach people affected by the pandemic, because many places are currently isolated, temporarily suspending business and service activities.
“If the implementation of this support is slow, it is our fault to the people. If there is profiteering or negative, it is a crime to the people. We must do it with conscience and responsibility so that the support package reaches the people as soon as possible. Localities need to proactively issue policies to support freelance workers and administrative procedures must be simplified as much as possible”, emphasized Minister Dao Ngoc Dung.
The Minister appreciated the initiative of some provinces such as Ho Chi Minh City, Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, Da Nang and Dong Nai in deploying the support package.
The Minister affirmed that, overcoming the difficulties caused by the epidemic, in the first 6 months of 2021, the Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs sector has implementated the "dual goals" of preventing and fighting the epidemic while recovering and developing socio-economic. The social security and people's life has been ensured./.
