Tens of millions of people supported by Resolution 68
(LĐXH)- "After a month of implementing Resolution 68/NQ-CP, the whole country has tens of millions of people and workers benefited from policies and cash support. Millions of freelancers have approached the policy" - said Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung at the Government's online conference on the implementation of urgent solutions to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic on August 15.

Thereby, the whole country has tens of millions of people benefiting from the policy, and millions of workers receiving cash support.
Especially recently, millions of freelance workers have enjoyed flexible policies and procedures from localities.
Many provinces and cities have had creative ways to actively expand beneficiaries, such as Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Hanoi…
Also at the conference, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung suggested localities to better implement Resolution 68/NQ-CP and Decision 86/NQ-CP through many synchronous and effective measures.
The implementation of support needs to be faster, more specific and and effective. In which, priority should be given to the workers who have lost their jobs or stopped working.
At the same time, it is necessary to take good care of people with meritorious services, policy families, poor households, social protection beneficiaries, children in difficult circumstances.
Also according to Minister Dao Ngoc Dung, on August 16, the MoLISA will submit to the Prime Minister for signing and promulgating a Decision on granting rice support to localities across the country facing difficulties due to the Covid-19 epidemic, especially ones that are currently in social distancing.
Facing the complicated development of the COVID-19 epidemic, the MoLISA has advised and submitted to the Government for the issuance of Resolution No. 68/NQ-CP, contributing to minimizing the negative impacts of the pandemic and recovering production and business, stabilizing labor and employment, ensuring the life and safety of workers, maintaining the goal of both epidemic prevention and control and economic development.
Up to now, 63/63 provinces and cities have issued plans to implement Resolution 68/NQ-CP and Decision 23/2021/QD-TTg.
So far, over 13 million people were supported with a total amount of nearly 6,000 billion VND./.
