Vietnam - Cambodia signed a cooperation agreement in labour issues
(LĐXH)- Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Ngoc Dung signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in labour with Cambodian Minister of Labour and Vocational Training Ith Samheng.

Accordingly, the two sides agreed to encourage technical cooperation between the two countries in the field of labour within the functions, tasks and powers of each side.
In particular, exchange of systems, research, expertise and information on various fields, including (but not limited to) comparative research on labor, employment and vocational training as well as labour management, such as: collective bargaining, law enforcement and compliance, labour inspection, labour dispute resolution, social insurance, labour protection, freedom of association, safety and health labour, managing foreign workers, and exchanging information on improving labor productivity.
In addition, the two sides encouraged the exchange of delegations of officials and experts; manage migration for work between countries; exchange information to prevent illegal recruitment and hiring of workers as well as to prevent and combat labour exploitation and human trafficking; and other cooperative activities jointly decided by the two Parties.
In addition, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs of Vietnam and the Ministry of Labour and Vocational Training of the Kingdom of Cambodia will also cooperate on skills development, sharing knowledge and techniques to improve human resource skills and increase labour productivity./.
